What Readers Have to Say

Ed Martin President, Phyllis Schlafly's Eagle Forum

"I bought kick bACK on my Kindle and I couldn't shut it off until I found out how it turned out for our hero Joe! Joe's story is transformative: self-forgiveness and redemption seep into his life as he is exposed (re-exposed!?) to deep Christian faith. I laughed out loud at parts and held my breath at others - it's more than just a fun romantic-comedy ... it's a story that inspired me and its message stayed with me. RC Atchisson brings Christian fiction into the 21st century - he manages to artfully share old truths in a new tale!"

In a tale of unlikely discovery, RC Atchisson weaves together an ensemble of complementary characters and a dire situation to create a quality page-turner. I read kickbACK in two sittings, as the story is engaging and Joe, the main character, is relatable - who hasn’t felt down and out at one point or another? The dialogue is witty, back-and-forth, and poignant, adding to the spirit of the book. I look forward to the other books in the trilogy.

Loved everything about this book! Spent a week in Nantucket, so it was that much more special for me. Have already read the nutcracker stroll. Looking forward to number 3. So glad someone suggested this author.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Story of Hope and Restoration

This story surprised and delighted me. Joe, the main character, has lost all hope, so much so that he plans to take his own life. But sometimes life has a way of surprising us. It tosses out a life preserver just when we think we're going down for the last time. I really enjoyed this book. It's well written and keeps you turning the pages for more of the story.
